  • Former educator, author, and coach, Kyunghee’s work encompasses helping people gain insight into their strengths to guide them through challenges they face in their everyday lives.

    As a School Success Coach, Kyunghee works with all individuals in all phases of schooling to help them experience a more healthy, balanced, and positive school life. She specializes in working with individuals who need support in executive function skills (organization & planning, time management, flexible thinking), self-leadership (developing strong values and making good decisions), mindset skills for self-esteem and resilience, and peer relationships. Her coaching style is conversation driven with tools that combine both psychology and strategy - mind and action.

    As a Therapeutic Writing Facilitator, Kyunghee leads group workshops at Grove to offer space for grief writing as well as individual one-on-one writing coaching for those interested in exploring writing as a creative outlet to release and reflect on their emotions. Kyunghee has created and taught writing workshops at GrieveWell, a local nonprofit, as well as other organizations.

    Kyunghee holds a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education with Teacher Certification from the University of Michigan, a Master’s Degree in Educational Studies from the University of Michigan, and is trained in Cognitive Coaching. She has extensive experience in schools with almost two decades as a school teacher. As a certified yoga and mindfulness teacher, Kyunghee incorporates wellbeing practices into her coaching work with clients when appropriate.

  • $130 per Coaching Session.

    $150 per stand-alone IEP Consultation.

    *an IEP Consultation as a stand alone session where she helps parents/guardians understand their student’s IEP document through education, review, and how it is being implemented in the school.
