Kyunghee’s work encompasses helping individuals gain insight into their strengths to guide them through challenges they face in their everyday lives. She offers three distinct services: executive function coaching, mindfulness and emotional wellness, and therapeutic writing. Clients can choose to work with her in any or all of these areas.
Kyunghee holds a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education with Teacher Certification from the University of Michigan, a Master’s Degree in Educational Studies from the University of Michigan, and is trained in Cognitive Coaching. She is a certified yoga teacher and has a certificate in Mindfulness and Breath Work.
Executive Function
Executive Function is a set of cognitive skills that help people plan, focus, and make decisions and they are essential in our everyday living. As an Executive Function Coach, Kyunghee works with clients in one on one coaching to support them in gaining skills such as organization & planning, time management, flexible thinking, increased self-motivation and self-monitoring, and learning to prioritize so that they can better function and find success in both their personal and professional lives. Individuals seeking executive function support might live with ADHD, but not necessarily. Her coaching style is conversation driven with tools that combine both psychology and strategy - mind and action.
Mindfulness & Emotional Wellness
In all of Kyunghee’s work, she uses a mind-body approach in helping her clients find and experience emotional wellness no matter where they are at. Kyunghee specializes in helping people with anxiety, stress, and grief by incorporating breath work, visualization, yoga, and creative writing to empower the individual to experience positive changes in their emotional health and overall wellbeing.
Therapeutic Writing
Kyunghee leads group workshops at Grove to offer space for individuals to explore their emotions through a creative outlet. She has created and taught grief writing workshops at GrieveWell, a local nonprofit, as well as other organizations. She is available for group workshops and one-on-one writing coaching for individuals looking to explore difficult emotions using writing as a tool.
Kyunghee also works with writers for author coaching and is an active member in the local art communities.
